Amongst other brilliant retro classics that the skins prop team have been snapping up from ‘Retro’ they have also been in to scan the artwork. Hannah Broadway’s print ‘You and Me’ will be enlarged and used as a backdrop in the next series of ‘Skins’.
Just goes to show what an exciting showcase for work “Retro’ is!
Congratulations to Becki who has just won the Best New Blood award at the annual D&AD exhibition in London for her book ”, a children’s picture book telling the story of how a boy who is born with see-through skin tries to fit in with the other children at school.
Becki has a range of digital prints on sale at Retro.
Andy’s model dinosaur (a collaboration with Matt Pugh, a designer-maker) can currently be seen at the RWA’s Crimes of of Passion exhibition. This is the first major show of its kind in the city since the Arnolfini’s groundbreaking 1985 show, Graffiti Art and is a celebration of the city’s rich and diverse contemporary scene.
